Product Story
The wide-spaced grid uses roughly half the bamboo of a close weave, which keeps the bin light enough to lift with one hand and cheap enough to be an everyday object rather than a decorative one.
Crafted in Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya, Northeast India.
Craftsmanship & Process
An open square bin that flares toward the rim, woven in a wide grid so the form stays light. Suited to paper waste in a study or bedroom, and equally usable as a cachepot around a plastic planter. Each piece is made by hand using traditional weaving techniques adapted for contemporary use. Learn more on the artisans page.
