Assam's cane forests support a tradition of basket-making used in markets and homes. Our cane storage and planter pieces come from artisan groups in Barpeta and Kamrup.
Smaller workshops in Tripura and Nagaland produce fruit baskets, laundry baskets, and specialty pieces. We visit regularly to maintain quality and fair working relationships.
