Bamboo Conical Pendant Lampshade

The conical form is the oldest shade shape in the workshop, borrowed from the woven field hats worn across the hills. Weavers build it in one continuous spiral from apex to rim, tightening the pitch as the diameter grows.

Crafted in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, Northeast India.

A cone-profile pendant shade woven in a tight diagonal twill that reads almost solid from a distance. The wide lower opening directs light down over a table or counter, making it well suited to task and island lighting.
